Q: Mixers : I see that the SA8/1 Accessory Pack for Vortex SA8 is a plastic cradle for standard microtitre plates. Are there any accessories that would allow several 1.5ml tubes to be vortexed simultaneously?
A: The accessory pack also comes with a foam insert which fits inside the cradle. This allows you to vortex up to 8 x 0.2ml tubes, 8 x 0.5ml tubes and 16 x 1.5ml tubes. There is also a plain foam insert for custom holes.
Q:Mixers: Is it possible to get a platform without cradle for the SSL1?
A: Yes the part number is SSL1/2, and the platform is supplied with non slip mat and is 350x350mm
